Habitat & distribution: Recorded from a single location by Batanouny, but occurs in irigated lawns and other damp places elsewhere in the Gulf, so may be more widespread now in Qatar. Uses: Rizk & El-Ghazaly list numerous cosmetic and medicinal uses.
