Growth form: Annual or perennial herb. Flowering. Mar–Apr. Status: Introduced. Local. Not in other Gulf areas. Habitat & distribution: Recorded by El Amin from roads and runnels in C Qatar, but not recorded by any other authors from Arabia. Uses: El Amin mentions that it is used medicinally in West Africa to treat dysentery, heart troubles, eye and ear sores.
